A warm welcome awaits you at The White Hart at Great Torrington. The White Hart is a small, friendly 19th century pub and restaurant in the setting of Great Torrington, North Devon.
Great Torrington is a friendly, welcoming town, set in the midst of rolling, unspoilt green countryside. Great Torrington is in the very heart of Tarka Country, a landscape captured by Henry Williamson in his novel Tarka the Otter in 1927.
Famous throughout the region for our superb selection of Real Ales, we are equally as popular for our food which is served in generous portions. The menu is a happy mix of modern food and traditional values, and makes use of only the freshest ingredients and local produce. All food is home-cooked and freshly prepared.
When the weather permits you may eat outside in the pleasant garden where there are lots of family sized tables. If you do choose to be outside, you can take advantage of our glorious view.
